Business Videos: Are They Worth the Effort?<\/span><\/h3>\n

Marketing your business or brand has been all the rage for the last couple of years.
\nIf you are not a \u201ctechy\u201d person, it might even scare you a little bit. The great thing is
\nthat it does not have to be overwhelming to create your own videos.<\/p>\n

But, how do you do it? Or, do you find a Marketing Consultant who does that well?<\/p>\n

There is Screencasting<\/strong>:<\/span>
\nThis is where you record what you are doing on your screen. For instance, if you
\nare an accountant, you might prepare a Powerpoint presentation and record it.
\nYou can use free screencasting services, or the camera on your computer.<\/p>\n

There are\u00a0Live Action Videos<\/strong>:<\/span>
\nThese are the \u201ctalking head\u201d videos you see online where the person gives a
\npresentation by simply looking at the screen. You may also consider doing a video
\nwhere you interview previous clients, get testimonials or give a tour of your office.<\/p>\n

There are also Animations\/Music Videos<\/strong>:<\/span>
\nThese are videos that basically have music and moving word animations to get
\nyour point across. While they may be \u201csnazzy\u201d, they convert at a much lower
\nrate because the person does not get engaged in the video.<\/p>\n

And many more choices and options with Video<\/span><\/em><\/h4>\n

As you can see, there are several ways to use video in your business marketing efforts.
\nYouTube is the second largest search engine (yes, it IS a search engine) behind Google,
\nso you need to be using it to its fullest potential. It is a social network in its own right, too.<\/p>\n
